Already the creator of The Puberty Prof Podcast and the TALK Puberty App, Lori has decided to switch her focus to collaborating with Health Educators on the School Health Educators podcast. She believes all school health educators deserve updated information on the best practices for teaching health in the K-12 classroom setting, as well as a positive space to embrace all educators and organizations supporting the wellness of children and youth.
Lori’s mission is to provide a positive forum to share best practices for K-12 health education teachers which includes shifting outdated, fact-focused, lecture-based health education instruction to the student-centered and skill-based approach, while supporting state and National Health Education Standards. In her free time, Lori likes hiking, exploring new places, practicing mindfulness, and ensuring positive connections with others.
